LushAcres Second Annual Spring Festival Draws Large Crowd

With the rainy Spring we are having it was anyone’s guess how the day would be but the weather was perfect and the people came out for the 2nd Annual Spring Festival at LushAcres Farm in Clinton.
Staff working the event reported that more than 700 people were in attendance throughout the day long event and people were lining up at the gates before the festival even started.
LushAcres Farm strawberries were a huge hit, and they sold several dozen gallons. HIS Radios Fun Patrol showed up and interacted with guests.
The Barnyard Animal Experience brought smiles to the faces of the children and created great photo ops for families. People were able to pet, feed, and interact with Wanda (a female cow whose mother rejected her at birth and was bottle fed, and raised by farm staff), Thelma and Louise (two pot-belly pigs who love taking treats from guests), and several goats including a couple “super cute” baby goats.
“We had the perfect weather and our guests, as always, were amazing. Everyone had such a great time,” said Kurt Fuhrman-Farm Market Manager.
Rachel Messer (The Voice Contestant) along with her husband Connor Dale played several sets for guests to enjoy. “This week was awesome! We had a blast putting on a show at the LushAcres Farm and Market for the Spring Festival,” said Connor Dale.
It was beautiful day for strawberry picking, tractor rides, great music, and so much more!
