Make-A-Wish® South Carolina Will Celebrate 30 Years of Granting Wishes at the 2015 Wish Ball

March 23, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Make-A-Wish® South Carolina will host the 2015 Wish Ball on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at the South Carolina State Museum. The ball, celebrates the Make-A-Wish mission by raising funds to grant the wishes of South Carolina children with life-threatening medical conditions. Joined by donors, supporters and friends, a record number of formal attired guests are expected to attend. Guests will enjoy a cocktail party, a silent and live auction, a full plated dinner, and dancing. Most importantly, throughout the evening, we will highlight some of our local wish recipients and share the magic that Make-A-Wish creates.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate 30 years of granting wishes than hosting an event to raise money to grant even more wishes. The average cost of a wish is $7,500 dollars and there are currently over 45 Midlands children waiting for their wish to be granted. Every donor, sponsor, and attendee of the Wish Ball will help us make these wishes come true. Join us for a joyful, memorable, and mission centered evening!” stated Maggie Nash, Community Development Manager for Make-A-Wish South Carolina.

If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor, donating an auction item, or purchasing tickets for the Ball contact Maggie Nash at [email protected] or 864.250.0702 ext. 109. For more information regarding the Wish Ball visit our website: scwishball.org.
