Mckay Firm Partner, Janet Brooks Holmes, Selected to Join Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization Board of Directors

COLUMBIA, SC – McKay, Cauthen, Settana & Stubley, P.A. announced that firm Partner, Janet Brooks Holmes, has recently been selected to join the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization Board of Directors.
As a member of the Board, Holmes – who was crowned Mrs. South Carolina 1995 – will oversee and help organize the annual Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen pageants and their respective organizations scholarships. The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization is known for their history of support for community service and educational opportunities for young women in South Carolina.
Ms. Holmes is a graduate of Clemson University and earned her law degree at the University of South Carolina. She practices in the area of trucking and transportation law, general insurance defense, governmental defense, civil litigation and professional liability. She has served as a spokesperson for The Alliance for South Carolina’s Children, a member of the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court, the Merit Selection Panel for the 2011 US Magistrate Judge, and the Board of Directors for the SC Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
