Medically underserved citizens now have help in Pickens County SC and Tri-City area

Foothills Community Health Care, (FCHC), is growing with our new location is in Easley, SC. Our first location is in Clemson, SC and has been serving residents in Pickens, Oconee, and Anderson residents going on 4 years.
FCHC is a unique medical office for residents in the tri-county area. FCHC gladly accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and uninsured patients. FCHC provides comprehensive health services to adults and children such as sick visits, well visits, case management, behavioral health counseling, and many other services. We offer a sliding fee scale to patients who do not have insurance or to patients with high deductibles and have incomes below 200 percent of the Federal poverty level to make our services affordable.
Mrs. Leah Shirey is FCHC’s primary practitioner at our Easley location. Ms. Shirey is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Originally from Kentucky, she received her Associates Degree in Nursing at Midway University, and her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University.
Leah’s Practice Philosophy:
Mrs. Shirey believes that empowering patients to play an active role in their health will provide lifelong benefits for them. She believes each patient is unique, and requires specific healthcare needs. Her goal is to be proactive yet understanding and supportive while delivering quality healthcare to each individual patient.
