Melinda Davis Lux elected member of the American Law Institute

GREENVILLE, SC – Melinda Davis Lux, a shareholder of Wyche, P.A., has been elected a member of the prestigious American Law Institute, a national organization comprising outstanding judges, lawyers, and law professors. The American Law Institute is the leading independent organization in the United States producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and improve the law.

As a member of the American Law Institute, Davis Lux will have the opportunity to influence the development of the law in both existing and emerging areas, to work with other eminent lawyers, judges, and academics, and to give back to the legal profession as a whole.

Davis Lux centers her practice at Wyche on complex business deals, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions. She is Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Private Equity Subcommittee, a member of the ABA Mergers & Acquisitions Committee, a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Chair of the Board of Clemson’s Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership, and a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Davis Lux is a graduate of Yale Law School, earned an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law, and earned an MBA from Clemson University.
