Mickey E. Layden, CPM Elected Senior Vice President of Colliers Keenan, Inc.

COLUMBIA, SC – May 12, 2009 – Colliers Keenan Inc., announced today that Mickey E. Layden, CPM has been elected Senior Vice President. Layden joined Colliers Keenan in 1986 and has served as Vice President of Property Management since 1988. In this role, she is responsible for a staff of 29 employees who manage and maintain over 5,000,000 square feet of commercial, medical, retail and industrial space.
Layden also serves as President of LCK Construction Services, an affiliate of Colliers Keenan, which provides project management and consulting services for a wide variety of clients and development projects, including commercial, retail, multi-family, medical, religious, manufacturing, institutional, municipal and not-for-profit.
Layden has also taken an active role in the community, serving as board chair for the Committee of 100 and Palmetto Center for Women. She also serves on the board of directors for the Columbia YMCA and Central SC Alliance. She has been active with the Institute of Real Estate Management both locally and nationally, from serving as a faculty member to a national Senior Vice President.
