Miller-Valentine Construction breaks ground on third Midway Logistics industrial building

Not content to rest after a record-breaking year in the Southeast market, Miller-Valentine Construction kicked off 2018 by breaking ground on Midway Logistics III, a 200,000 square foot speculative building in the Lexington County Industrial Park (LCIP).
The tilt-up, hard wall multi-tenant building is designed for Class “A” distribution and light manufacturing tenants. The facility will feature a clear height of 30’, energy-efficient LED lighting, and an ESFR sprinkler system. It will also include 21 dock doors, two drive-ins, and entries for tenant offices. The site is designed to allow for a shared dock apron to support a future distribution facility on the adjacent lot. The project is on a 30-week construction schedule.
Magnus Development Partners, the project’s developer, selected Miller-Valentine Construction as its design/build partner based on the company’s unmatched experience with designing and building spec buildings to meet the evolving market requirements.

This is the third Midway Logistics building within LCIP constructed by Miller-Valentine Construction. It comes hard on the heels of Midway Logistics II, which was completed within budget in November 2017. The 350-acre park is also home to Husqvarna and JanPak, which occupy Midway Logistics I, as well as Home Depot and Republic National Distributing Co.
Colliers International South Carolina is handling the leasing for Midway Logistics III. One tenant has been identified, leaving 170,000 square feet of space still available for lease.
