Moore Taylor’s Myers named Lieutenant Colonel

Moore Taylor Law Firm announces that Stanley L. Myers, a partner at the firm, has been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the South Carolina Army National Guard.

At Moore Taylor, Myers practices personal injury, worker’s compensation, criminal defense and military law. He is a 1998 graduate of the Citadel, where he now is a member of the Board of Visitors, and is a 2003 graduate of the David A. Clark School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia. Myers deployed as a Captain with the 218th Infantry Brigade to Afghanistan for a 15-month combat tour in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He also serves as the Staff Judge Advocate for the 59th Troop Command at McEntire Joint National Guard Base.

Myers is a member of the South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Trial Lawyers and the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also the founder of the Swansea Mentoring Program for youth in his hometown of Swansea, S.C.
