Moore Taylor’s S. Jahue Moore named Greater Cayce West Columbia Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year

WEST COLUMBIA, SC – Moore Taylor Law Firm announces that S. Jahue (Jake) Moore has been named Greater West Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year for his commitment to West Columbia’s Beautification Foundation and improving many areas of the city. Moore was given the award at the chamber’s 2015 annual awards dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015.

Moore practices civil litigation, criminal litigation, local government law, administrative law, education law and commercial litigation. He is a founding partner of Moore Taylor Law Firm and a member of the S.C. Trial Lawyers Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has taught at the USC School of Law and has served as counsel to the Legislative Audit Counsel for the S.C. General Assembly.

In addition to his work with West Columbia’s Beautification Foundation, he is a founding member of the Irmo Arbor Day Committee and works with other environment and beautification groups. He has also served as chairman of the USC Board of Visitors.
