Hall of Heroes Closes May 5
This is the last weekend to experience the exciting interactive exhibit Hall of Heroes. Featuring, Batman, Superman, the Hulk and more, the exhibit explores the history and science behind America’s superhero obsession. Guests will immerse themselves in the world of superheroes and get to test their own super abilities at a variety of interactive stations. Visit scmuseum.org to learn

 

Reflections on the River Opens, May 4
The museum is excited to announce the opening of its new art exhibit,Reflections on the River. From 16th century engravings and Catawba pottery to contemporary paintings and photographs, this exhibition will explore the significance of our state’s rivers on culture, industry and landscape, as well as the ways in which they have inspired artists in the state.
$1 General Admission Sunday, May 5
General admission to the South Carolina State Museum is only $1 for guests on Sunday, May 5. Included in general admission, guests can explore four floors of permanent and changing exhibits. This is the last chance for guests to experienceHall of Heroes.
