NAI Avant facilitates one of the largest sales in the greater Charleston area during 2016

NAI Avant is pleased to announce that senior broker Dexter Rumsey represented the owner, PCCR, LLC (DBA Crescent Communities), in the $21 million sale of the 2,031-acre undeveloped Wildcat Tract in Berkeley County. The land parcel was purchased by Wildcat Trail, LLC.
The Wildcat Tract is situated in the heart of Berkeley County, off of Highway 176 on Black Tom Road in Moncks Corner. The property is in close proximity to the Nexton community and borders South Carolina’s number one selling residential neighborhood, Cane Bay Plantation. Similar to the 4,500-acre Cane Bay community, the Wildcat Tract will be a mixed-use development and offers residential, commercial, retail and multifamily opportunity.
“We appreciate the opportunity to work exclusively on behalf of Crescent Communities in the sale of this significant tract,” said Rumsey. “Under an existing planned development agreement with Berkeley County, the tract will provide homes and neighborhood commercial facilities for generations to come.”
Berkeley County is the fastest growing county in South Carolina. The county is home to Volvo North America’s debut manufacturing plant as well as mega-developments Nexton, Cane Bay Plantation and Carnes Crossroads.
