New Coach Brings Hope to LDHS Girls’ Basketball

Aianna Kelly, the first-year girls’ basketball coach at Laurens District High School, is a young woman of inexhaustible enthusiasm. Her positive outlook may come in handy as the Raiders enter Region 2-4A competition coming off a 3-17 record last season in Region 1-5A.
Kelly is no stranger to Laurens County, having played college ball at Presbyterian College. She has reason for optimism. LDHS should benefit from moving down a class and from another year’s experience in its returning nucleus of players.
