Reinvestment in Uptown Greenwood Continues
Greenwood Capital announced its relocation to its newly renovated offices on the first floor of 425 Main St., in the heart of Uptown Greenwood. An SEC-registered investment adviser, Greenwood Capital was founded in 1983, in the Greenwood Building at the corner of Main St. and Maxwell Ave. The building at 425 Main Street was opened in 1978 as Greenwood Savings & Loan, and in 2003 was vacated. In 2009, Countybank located its corporate offices to the 2nd floor, with the first floor remaining vacant.

Managing $1.2 billion in assets, Greenwood Capital continues to invest resources in South Carolina. The Firm recently expanded to a team of 20 employees, and now has two new locations with the opening of its new offices in Greenville, SC this past year.
