New development specialist at Rebuild Upstate

July 28, 2017

GREENVILLE, SC – Rebuild Upstate has hired Melanie Pozuc as its new development specialist.

Pozuc arrives with more than three years of nonprofit-management experience, including volunteer management and work with community members. She most recently worked as program manager at Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee. Prior to that, she was the communications and assessment coordinator for home repair at Mountain T.O.P. and AmeriCorps VISTA, where she designed and implemented a method for measuring Mountain T.O.P.’s effectiveness in the community. The data she collected was used for grant writing and communicating the organization’s impact, as well as for fundraising.

Pozuc earned a degree in applied conflict management from Kent State University in 2014, and was awarded a Master of Business Administration from Lipscomb University in 2017.

“We are very fortunate to have Melanie joining our team,” said Chris Manley, founder and executive director of Rebuild Upstate. “Melanie’s previous experience and education make her an invaluable addition to the Rebuild Upstate team.”
