October 4, 2017

Pawmetto Lifeline, a local No-Kill companion pet organization committed to reducing pet overpopulation in the Midlands, will host the 11th Annual Fur Ball Moonlight Gala presented by Jim Hudson Lexus, at 7pm on Saturday, October 21st at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The Fur Ball will feature a cocktail reception, live and silent auctions, live music from Soul Play, dinner, raffles and more to raise awareness and donations for companion pets.

Guests are invited to wear their most dazzling formal wear for the black tie event and enjoy a wonderful evening presented by Jim Hudson Lexus. The Fur Ball is one of the largest signature events in the Midlands put on every year by Pawmetto Lifeline.

“The Fur Ball is a spectacular way to raise awareness and money for our No-Kill Initiative, meaning no pet dies simply because they are homeless,” stated Denise Wilkinson, CEO of Pawmetto Lifeline. “We hope people enjoy this fabulous event realizing that their support will actually impact thousands of homeless pets in our community.”

All proceeds from the event will support Pawmetto Lifeline’s No-Kill effort. The event draws approximately 1,000 of South Carolina’s most devoted animal lovers. Those interested in attending can visit the website to purchase an individual ticket for $175. Or, if interested in sponsoring the 2017 Fur Ball, view the many options for multiple tickets and sponsorship/advertisement opportunities at: http://bit.ly/FurBall2017.

“Since our humble beginning in 1999, we have saved the lives of over 42,000 household pets,” says Cindee Bailey, Co-Chair of Pawmetto Lifeline’s Board of Trustees. “Those are kittens, puppies, cats and dogs that have found forever homes and are sharing their love with people just like you. Thank you. Your caring, dedication and hard work is moving us closer to our ultimate goal every day. Together, we will stop the killing.”
