Portion of Leesburg Road in Richland County to close May 31 for drainage work

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) plans to close a portion of Leesburg Road in Richland County to install a drainage pipe crossing in the Lester Farms area.

The work is scheduled to begin May 31, 2016, and be completed by June 3, 2016, weather permitting. Signs will be in place marking the detour, which includes Lower Richland Boulevard and Trotter Road.

Local traffic will be allowed access within the limits of the detour between Lower Richland Boulevard and Trotter Road from each side but not through the lane closure.
