Presbyterian College Wins Excellence Award at Hobsons University 2012

CLINTON, SC – October 19, 2012 – The Hobsons Excellence Awards committee recently announced its selection of Presbyterian College as a recipient of the Marketing Excellence Award at Hobsons University in July.
PC’s Dean of Enrollment Management Brian Fortman said, Our partnership with Hobsons has been fantastic, and as we continue to collaborate, we are finding innovative ways to connect with college-bound students while effectively marketing Presbyterian College.
The Hobsons Excellence Awards showcase the achievements of Hobsons’ clients who have excelled in product use and promotion. Nominated by Hobsons staff and conference attendees, and selected by Hobsons Executives, the Excellence Awards are presented at Hobsons University, the annual user’s conference for Hobsons’ solutions. Just over thirty colleges and universities were nominated for the 2012 Excellence Awards and eight were selected as award recipients.
The Product Expertise in Marketing Award is presented to a Hobsons’ client who has maximized either the use of a single marketing solution or is utilizing several products together to accomplish their enrollment strategy. PC partnered with Hobsons for personalized postcards, a parents’ guide, online search tools, and the integrated microsite mybluepride.com.
From concept to implementation, launching mybluepride.com was one of our marketing highlights over the past year, noted Fortman.
Excellence Award winners were selected for the following categories: Product Expertise, Service & Commitment, Visionary, Circle of Excellence, Hobsons’ Choice, and Peer Excellence.
For the past seven years, the Hobsons Excellence Awards have recognized the innovative ways our clients use Hobsons products, said Jennifer Wagener, vice president of HE Professional Services. This year’s nominees and recipients partnered closely with Hobsons to utilize marketing and technology solutions in order to drive student success and institutional effectiveness.
