Putt-Putt® Announces New Entertainment Center Concept and Reopens for Franchising

January 24, 2008

CHAPEL HILL, NC – January 24, 2008 – For more than half a century, the Putt-Putt name has been synonymous with miniature golf. To celebrate its fifty-fourth year, Putt-Putt has announced a new direction for the familiar brand.

The national franchise has begun implementing new plans to evolve its park design to feature more attractions and to expand its franchise network into new communities.

New and renovated Putt-Putt Fun Center™ locations will continue to feature the skill-based miniature golf that first made Putt-Putt famous, but franchisees will have the option of offering expanded attractions, such as game rooms, go-karts, laser tag, batting cages, party rooms, snack bars and more.

“The new Putt-Putt Fun Center locations will be dynamic, mini amusement parks with a focus on family fun,” said Bob Kastl, Putt-Putt’s Director of Franchising and Operations.

“Our park evolution presents a great opportunity for individuals or groups interested in owning and managing their own business in a fun, family-centered environment.”

Putt-Putt is currently seeking new franchisees, with a particular focus in smaller to mid-sized communities in the Southeast and Southwest, to expand the number of family entertainment centers featuring Putt-Putt miniature golf. Putt-Putt, LLC currently has more than 64 locations in 20 states and is the largest miniature golf franchise company in the world.
