Ralph de la Vega, globally recognized corporate exec, set to visit Greenville
May 13, 2019Ralph de la Vega, founder and chairman of the De La Vega Group and former Vice Chairman of AT&T Inc., will speak with the Greenvile community on May 22-23, 2019. Scheduled stops include a private reception with Hispanic business leaders, breakfast with local executives and visits with students at several Greenville schools.
Mr. de la Vega is one of America’s most distinguished and highly accomplished corporate executives. His 42 year tenure at AT&T led him to becoming CEO of AT&T Mobile and Business Solutions and Vice Chairman of AT&T Inc. Currently, he leads the De La Vega Group, investing in entrepreneurial startups. He also serves on various corporate boards, including American Express Company and New York Life Insurance Company.
Mr. de la Vega will kick off the tour with a private reception the evening of May 22, 2019. On May 23rd, he will begin with a breakfast at Champions Club at Fluor Field with a group of local executives. He will conclude the visit speaking to students at Legacy Early College and Berea Middle School.

The visit is led by the Greenville Chamber’s Hispanic Business Council. According to Idaly Partridge, 2019 Hispanic Business Council Chair, “It’s been a dream of the Council’s to bring Mr. de la Vega to Greenville for about a year now and we are eager to learn from his journey that led him from Cuba to becoming a celebrated corporate executive, speaker and author.”
