Rebuild Upstate adds new board members

Rebuild Upstate has added two new board members, who will serve three-year terms helping grow this agency that does home repairs across the region.
Michael Cunningham is the Vice President Community Health Partnerships at AnMed Health. Prior to that, he was AnMed’s Director of Communications. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s in public administration degrees from Clemson University.
Harold Hughes is the founder and CEO of BANDWAGON, a Greenville-based sports technology company that captures and elevates the gameday experience for fans, teams, and brands. He earned his bachelor’s and his master’s in business administration degrees from Clemson.
Rebuild Upstate helps low-income homeowners with home repairs and accessibility improvements to create safe, livable housing in existing homes and neighborhoods. Typically homeowners fall into one of three segments: low-income families with children in the home, seniors age 60 and older, and people with disabilities.
The non-profit agency specializes in home repairs and accessibility improvements. Home repairs can range from small plumbing fixes to roof and floor replacements. Accessibility improvements range from installing grab bars and railings for vulnerable populations to building wheel chair ramps for those with disabilities.
“Harold and Michael bring amazing talents and insights to our board,” said Chris Manley, Rebuild Upstate’s executive director. “We know they will be a great asset to not just us, but the people we serve.”
