Regional bank executive Hammond Edwards joins Resource Financial Services

Resource Financial Services, a privately owned mortgage banker headquartered in Columbia, SC, announced today that Hammond Edwards, a banking executive with more than 30 years experience, has joined their team as a mortgage banker. Edwards will use his extensive knowledge to advise Resource Financial customers on mortgages and refinancing while helping them achieve their financial goals.

Prior to his role as Mortgage Banker with Resource Financial Services, Edwards held senior executive level positions with several large regional banks. Throughout his professional career he has built a strong reputation as a leader in the banking industry and in the communities he serves.

Hammond is a 1997 graduate of Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking and a 1986 graduate of the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in finance and insurance. He serves as treasurer of Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of the USA, Mountains to Midlands Council and also serves on the Board at Glenforest School in Columbia, SC.
