Renewable Water Resources Distributes Annual Report to the Community

January 18, 2011

GREENVILLE, SC – January 18, 2011 – As part of its public education program, Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) recently released its “2010 Annual Report to the Community.” This folded insert, which provides information on the organization, its financial status and its capital improvements program, was distributed through local publications this month.

In addition to the standard financial information, the 2010 Annual Report includes information about ReWa adopting the Effective Utility Management Primer developed by the Environmental Protections Agency (EPA) in conjunction with six national and wastewater associations. These adopted strategies will help ReWa become even more effective in the face of certain challenges such as aging infrastructure and increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.

ReWa utilizes the annual report as an informative, yet cost-effective communication to the public, as the 2010 Report was printed and distributed through various local publications for a minimal cost of less than $.25 per piece. Any person who has not received the 2010 Annual Report may read and print the document from ReWa’s website at www.rewaonline.org.
