Trenholm Artists Guild and Rockaways to Host Fifth Annual Rosewood Arts Festival

RESCHEDULED TO:   Sunday, October 25 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

For a fifth straight year, Trenholm Artists Guild (TAG) and Rockaway Athletic Club (Rockaways) are teaming up to host the Rosewood Arts Festival on the grounds of Columbia’s famous burger joint, Rockaways (2719 Rosewood Drive / corner of Rosewood Drive and Howard, Columbia), for a one-day, family-friendly arts festival with FREE ADMISSION.

Again this year, more than 100 artists from across the Palmetto State and Southeast region will showcase their artwork, which includes traditional canvas painting, jewelry, ceramics, mosaics, woodworking and even more eclectic art such as painted vegetables and robot lamps!

This year’s festival again features two stages of entertainment, including some of the most accomplished musicians and performers in the state.  Entertainment groups include the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra Musicians, Tom Hall & the Plowboys, Flat-Out Strangers, the Dawn Key Shotguns, Project Brass, Park Street Quintet, Chase Asmer, Practically Perfect Princesses, plus the Columbia College High-Cs and student string quartet.

Festival sponsors include the City of Columbia (Famously Hot!), US Foods, Rosewood Merchants Association, Pepsi, Ameris Bank, Budweiser of Columbia, and First Citizens Bank.  Also, all proceeds from bottled Pepsi products will be donated to Epworth Children’s Home.

The festival is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Admission is free.  The public is encouraged to visit and like “Rosewood Arts Festival” on Facebook to learn more.
