Richland One announces principal appointments

New principals will greet students at five Richland One schools when the 2019-2020 school year begins on August 21.
- Monica Adams is the new principal at Carver-Lyon Elementary School. Dr. Adams previously served as an assistant principal at John P. Thomas Elementary School.
- Jametta Hodges-Stewart is the acting principal at St. Andrews Middle School, where she previously served as an assistant principal.
- Kevin Hasinger is the new principal at Dreher High School. Mr. Hasinger previously served as the principal at Satchel Ford Elementary School.
- Matthew Scandrol is the new principal at Satchel Ford Elementary School. Dr. Scandrol previously served as the principal at Lake City High School in Florence School District Three.
- Craig Washington is the new principal at Columbia High School. Mr. Washington previously served as the principal at Southside Middle School in Florence School District One.
“This is an outstanding group of experienced educators, and we look forward to the leadership and enthusiasm that they will bring to their respective school communities,” said Richland One Superintendent Dr. Craig Witherspoon.
