Richland Two Board Candidates Forum on Tuesday, October 20

The Richland Two Teacher Forum, in partnership with the League of Women Voters, will host a Virtual Candidate Forum at 6:30 p.m. on October 20. The community is invited to watch the forum online at www.richland2.org/
Ten candidates are running to fill three positions. The candidates are: Lindsay Agostini, Demestress “Dee” Bell-Williams, Monica Elkins, Deon Jacobs, Lashonda McFadden, Rhonda Meisner, James Mobley, James “Jamie” Shadd III, Lawrence Terry and Maryann Wright. Current members serving and running for reelection are Agostini, Elkins and Shadd.
The Teachers Forum consists of Richland Two Teachers of the Year. The Forum provides representation of teachers’ opinions on the teaching profession and on educational issues. The Forum also seeks to positively impact the professional development of teachers.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan citizen organization that neither supports nor opposes candidates for public offices.
