Rotary District 7770 Changes for 2024-25

Mary G. Gasque, a prominent local businesswoman and partner at Gasque Marketing and Advertising in West Columbia, SC, has been officially installed as the District Governor for Rotary District 7770. The installation ceremony took place on June 29, 2024, at Seawell’s, marking the beginning of her term along with the installation of four Assistant Governors and twenty Club Presidents.

Mary Gasque, an active and dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Five Points, will lead the district, which encompasses the 25 eastern counties of South Carolina, representing approximately 70 Rotary clubs and a membership of around 3,400 Rotarians.

In her new role as District Governor, Mary Gasque will support the Rotary clubs within the district, inspire and motivate their members, and promote Rotary’s mission in the community. Her responsibilities include working closely with past, current, and future district leaders to ensure continuity and momentum for long-term projects and plans. Additionally, she will serve as the key contact for Rotary International at the district level.

Mary Gasque expressed her excitement about her new role, stating, “I am honored to serve as Rotary District 7770 Governor. I look forward to a year of doing good in our communities and beyond while having fun promoting this amazing organization.”
