SC Bar offers free legal clinics in Columbia

Local attorneys to speak on a variety of legal issues

The SC Bar Pro Bono Program will sponsor two free legal clinics in Columbia in November. The schedule is as follows:

  • November 3—Consumer Law Issues, including loans and credit cards, presented by Martha S. Phillips. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Richland Library Northeast Branch (7490 Parklane Rd., Columbia 29223).
  • November 7—Juvenile Justice Law Issues, presented by Brie R. Russell. The clinic will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Richland Library North Main Branch (5306 N. Main St., Columbia 29203).

The seminar is free for anyone who would like to attend. The format typically consists of an overview followed by a question and answer session. A schedule of other upcoming seminars throughout the state is available online at www.scbar.org/clinics.
