SC Green Industry Association hosts annual Conference & Trade Show

The South Carolina Green Industry Association will bring together over 100 exhibitors and 12 industry speakers to cover an extensive range of landscape topics during its annual two-day Conference and Trade Show held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on January 27 and 28th.
The Trade Show and education seminars will run from 7:15am-4:30pm on January 27 and from 7:30am-1:00pm on January 28. Up to $10,000 in college scholarships will also be awarded at the event to students planning a future in the green industry.
Landscape industry professionals can choose from a variety of engaging presentations including sustainable weed management, environmentally friendly pesticides, tree pruning, seasonal flower color, landscape design tips, technical classes on lighting, irrigation, and drainage, and business classes focusing on hiring, insurance, and pricing strategies.
Attendees can earn continuing education credit hours for the following certifications: South Carolina Pesticide, North Carolina Pesticide, International Society of Arboriculture, and North Carolina Irrigation.
