SC insurance leaders to convene at UofSC Oct. 25 to discuss challenges and trends

South Carolina insurance leaders will participate in a conference on the state of insurance and risk management in the Palmetto state Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the University of South Carolina. While open to the public, the event is intended for leaders in the insurance sector and the university community.

The Risk Management and Insurance Day will take place 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Sonoco Pavilion at the Moore School. It is free for university faculty, staff and students, and costs $50 for industry leaders. Registration is available online.

Raymond Farmer, director of the S.C. Department of Insurance, will deliver a luncheon keynote address from 11:30 a.m. – 12: 45 p.m., followed by the two panel discussions.
