October 28, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Liquid Assets will host the 20th Annual South Carolina Oyster Festival, Sunday, November 22 at the Robert Mills House and Hampton-Preston Mansion.

“This year, a portion of the proceeds will go to God’s Storehouse and Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services,” said Shawn Rankin, Owner of Liquid Assets. “We enjoy being able to give back to the community through this festival.”

The 20th Annual South Carolina Oyster Festival is Columbia’s largest outdoor oyster roast with over 10,000 pounds of fresh oysters served steamed and fried. Oysters are not included in the price of the ticket and are sold by the serving.

“You can bring your own glove and shucker or rent them at the festival,” said Rankin. “If you don’t like oysters, there will be other kinds of food available for purchase along with soft drinks, cold beer and wine for sale.”

The festival features two stages of live entertainment all day with South Carolina’s favorite local bands. The lineup includes: Dave Britt Acoustic, Rival Brothers, Nick Cleburne, Bobby Sutton, Josh Roberts, and The Distributors.

The festival is family friendly. There will be fun for the kids with affordable rides and bouncy houses.

Pre-sale tickets are priced at $5 each. Day of tickets are $10 and children under 12 are free with parents. Tickets are available at Robert Mills House Gift Shop, Pearlz Oyster Bar, and online by visiting www.scoysterfest.com.
