Electronic Health Network Receives Big Check

COLUMBIA, SC  – SCRA Technology Ventures’ SC Launch program presented a “big check” to Midlands-based Electronic Health Network (EHN) during the SC Summit on IT this morning. EHN was accepted into the program in June of 2014.

EHN is a health information interoperability company that gives health organizations, payers and public health agencies the ability to securely share patient’s protected health records regardless of electronic medical record software, location, size or complexity of operations. Their technology and business model increases revenues, improves the quality of care, reduces expenditures and saves lives, all while meeting new federal mandates.

“We are delighted to support EHN as they offer real solutions for the interoperability challenge in healthcare,” said SCRA CEO Bill Mahoney. “EHN is bringing IT solutions to an industry that requires the highest technology standards and performance. It is an honor to recognize this company as part of South Carolina’s technology-based economy.”
