Self Insurers Fund Endorses IIABSC and PIASC

GREENVILLE, SC – Self Insurers Fund participated in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of South Carolina (IIABSC) March 2014 Spring Conference at the Embassy Suites in Columbia, SC. Brandy Shealy, Underwriting Manager, and Marc Muri, Marketing Manager, met with current and prospective agents to provide Workers’ Compensation insurance information.
Additionally, during the April 2014 Professional Insurance Agents of South Carolina (PIASC) Spring Board of Directors Meeting, Self Insurers Fund marketing manager, Marc Muri was present. Muri, a member of PIASC for four years is a non-voting, company-sponsored board member.
IIABSC and PIASC are professional associations that exist to help independent agency members grow their agencies.
The IIABSC mission is to foster an environment and provide resources that sustain member services.
PIASC is an association of Main Street Independent Agencies with a proud tradition of delivering personal service to members and serving the insurance industry in general.
The Self Insurers Fund endorses the work of both these fine organizations. We look forward to active participation in each association.
Self Insurers Fund, established in 1995 by leaders within the South Carolina residential and commercial construction industry, provides workers’ compensation insurance coverage to over 1,100 residential and commercial construction contractors and subcontractors throughout South Carolina.
