Southeastern Freight Lines promotes John Calhoun to service center manager in Florence, South Carolina

Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, announced John Calhoun has been promoted to service center manager in Florence, South Carolina.

With over 21 years of experience at Southeastern, Calhoun started his career at the Greenville,
South Carolina, service center as a part time freight handler. Since then, he has served in
a variety of roles, including freight handler, outbound supervisor, linehaul dispatch, central
dispatch and most recently, regional linehaul manager.

“John has an excellent record in leadership and is known around the company for his positivity and relentless pursuit of results,” said Kim Shore, regional vice president of operations for Southeastern Freight Lines. “We are confident his effective leadership and ability to produce continuous measurable improvement will continue in Florence as he takes on this new role.”
