Southern Home Medical Equipment Reports Significant Growth from Encore Franchisees

LYMAN, SC – May 5, 2011 – Southern Home Medical Equipment, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SHOM), a Holding Company providing healthcare services, healthcare professionals and equipment to medical institutions, announced that Encore franchises in Pennsylvania and South Carolina have reported significant growth from Encore Medical Staffing operations in 2011.
Ester Diller and I started this franchise in December, 2010, says Dr. Stuart Lakernick. It was important for us to quickly achieve both professional excellence and financial success. With the Encore franchise model and a base of new business opportunities, we are pleased to report that our business has established new revenue records in each month of 2011. And, April represented a revenue increase over March of more than 40%.
In Lake Hartwell, South Carolina, Caroline & Jeffrey Bell report similar results. This has been the start of a terrific year of growth for our Encore business. Our revenues through the first four months of 2011 are exceeding our 2010 results by 35%.
