Spartanburg Convention & Visitor’s Bureau hires Visitor Services Coordinator

SPARTANBURG, SC  – The Spartanburg Convention & Visitor’s Bureau (SCVB) is pleased to welcome Megan Collins as its new Visitor Services Coordinator, assisting the sales team in selling Spartanburg County as a destination for meetings, conventions, group tours,  sporting events and tournaments.

“We are very excited to have Megan join our staff,” said CVB Executive Vice President Chris Jennings. “Her enthusiasm and experience in the tourism industry will serve us well in building relationships with clients in order to bring more group business to Spartanburg.”

Collins will be responsible for working with SCVB sales staff to determine lodging, housing and other support needed by event planners and attendees. She will be working with CVB Sales Manager Patricia Byrd and Sports Marketing Sales Director Kristyn Smith to host more groups in the region. Spartanburg County has more than 3,000 hotel rooms and 400,000 square feet of meeting space for professionals to convene.
