Spartanburg Water announces promotion in drinking water treatment – Above ground maintenance

Spartanburg Water announced the promotion of Michael Poteat to the position of Above Ground Maintenance Coordinator for the Drinking Water Treatment Division of the organization.  In his new role, Michael will supervise, plan and coordinate the above ground maintenance activities of Spartanburg Water’s Drinking Water Treatment related facilities.

Mr. Poteat joined Spartanburg Water in April, 2007 when he was hired as a Team Member I in the Construction and Distribution Department.  Mr. Poteat holds South Carolina Master Plumbers License and an Infrared Thermograph License. Mr. Poteat has over 10 years of experience with public utilities.
