Spartanburg Water announces promotion in Laboratory Services

Spartanburg Water is pleased to announce the promotion of Ron Gilbert to the position of Quality Assurance Officer for the Lab Services Section of the organization.  In his new role Ron will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and management of the Quality Assurance program for the Spartanburg Water Laboratory Services Section, including the central laboratory and the satellite laboratories.

Mr. Gilbert joined Spartanburg Water in July 2016 when he was hired as a technician in the laboratory.  Ron is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.  Mr. Gilbert has over 19 years of experience in laboratory analysis and quality control in addition to RCRA and DOT regulations.
