Spoleto Festival USA to offer ticket savings for Charleston locals during Spoleto Sunday event on Sunday, March 12

Spoleto Festival USA will offer a 20-percent discount on a range of its 2017 Festival performances during a special-savings-for-locals event as part of Second Sunday on King Street. On Sunday, March 12, the public is invited to visit the Festival’s information tent (on the corner of King and George streets) with staff available to answer questions about the upcoming season and provide programming recommendations. While tickets cannot be purchased at the tent, the public is welcome to walk a short distance to Spoleto Festival USA offices, located at 14 George Street, to take advantage of the special offerings. Visitors to Spoleto Festival USA’s tent will also be given a promotional code that can be used for online ticket purchases that Sunday only.
The specially priced performances encompass some of the Festival’s most notable opera, music, dance, and theater productions—including the grand opera Eugene Onegin, Druid’s highly acclaimed Waiting for Godot, and the Wells Fargo Festival Finale—giving local Charlestonians the opportunity to experience the best Festival has to offer. Outside of this event, the public can purchase Spoleto Festival USA tickets by visiting spoletousa.org anytime, or by calling the Festival box office at 843-579-3100 from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Saturday.
Additionally, tickets will be available at a box office within the Charleston Gaillard Center (95 Calhoun Street) beginning May 1: Monday through Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, June 11, from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
