Stokes & Company, CPAs hosts new office ribbon cutting & open house

Stokes & Company, CPAs, a Greenville-based firm specializing in monthly accounting, business advisory and payroll services for business clients, as well as individual tax planning and preparation, has relocated its headquarters to 108 Frederick Street. On Wednesday, the firm hosted local dignitaries for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of this new office, as well as more than 200 clients and guests for an open house event including lunch and live music.

Stephen Stokes, President, welcomed guests and remarked, “We are privileged to serve this community, hundreds of small business and nonprofits, helping them with their accounting and tax needs. We are grateful for our growth, but it’s not the building that makes us what we are; it’s our people. We look forward to continuing to grow with them.”
Vice President Allen Hodges introduced special guest & speaker U.S. Congressman William Timmons. Timmons’ experience as a small business owner inspired him to run for public office. He is a voice for Upstate residents and South Carolina’s business community as a member of the Financial Services Committee.
Congressman Timmons congratulated the Stokes & Company team on their growth and shared his appreciation for all the work the firm does for small businesses in the Upstate. He commented that the Fourth Congressional District is “well-positioned for continued incredible growth. We have all the right ingredients for successful businesses.”
