SYNNEX Corporation inspires record number of IT channel leaders at its annual North American conference

GREENVILLE, SC –  SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a Fortune 300 technology solutions company with its US distribution headquarters located in Greenville, South Carolina, held its largest annual Inspire Conference North America from September 30-October 3 in Greenville, SC. The annual conference, which hosted more than 2,000 suppliers, customers and associates from across the US and Canada, was packed with presentations and business sessions, networking and team-building opportunities, and an exciting concert by legendary rock band, Foreigner, to cap off the week.

The highlights for SYNNEX Inspire Conference North America included:

• Presentations by leading IT manufacturers such as Intel, Lenovo, HP, Google, Microsoft and Dell, including keynotes by Dell Inc. Founder and CEO Michael Dell, Lenovo North America President and Lenovo Group Senior Vice President Aymar de Lencquesaing, and DreamWorks Head of Technology for Film & TV Production Jeff Wike;
• SYNNEX’s Hall of Inspiration, which showed attendees how to use some of the most innovative and in-demand products and services offered by SYNNEX vendors and apply them in areas including health care, retail settings, police and fire departments, cyber security, Internet of Things and Big Data;
• An engaging conference keynote by Larry Winget, an icon in the world of personal development and author of six national bestsellers, including “Shut Up, Stop Whining & Get a Life”, “It’s Called Work for a Reason”, and “People Are Idiots and I Can Prove It”;
• A panel lunch titled “The Way We Inspire” for the SYNNEX F2F (Friend-to-Friend, Female-to-Female and Face-to-Face) community, which seeks to unite women from all walks within the IT industry to promote professional education and personal growth.

SYNNEX Inspire Conference North America utilized meeting space at the TD Convention Center, Hyatt Regency Greenville and Westin Poinsett, event space at the Upcountry History Museum and Huguenot Mill Loft at The Peace Center, seven hotels for accommodations, and more than fifteen downtown restaurants for private dinners.

SYNNEX also hosted its annual Share the Magic gala on October 3. SYNNEX Share the Magic is an annual fundraising initiative created by SYNNEX that provides much-needed funding for children facing challenges such as illness, abuse or neglect, and benefits A Child’s Haven, Clement’s Kindness, Make a Wish South Carolina®, and Pendleton Place for Children and Families. In its first four years, SYNNEX Share the Magic raised more than $3.6 million for South Carolina children and their families. The total amount raised for 2015 will be announced at the end of the year.
