TD Bank and TreesUpstate hold 13th annual TD Tree Days

Employees from TD Bank and staff and volunteers of TreesUpstate joined together on October 29 to plant 30 trees in Dixie Estates in Gantt as part of TD Tree Days, a community-based program that aims to grow green spaces and urban forests in primarily disadvantaged neighborhoods.
TD Bank provides grants for TD Tree Days in local communities. This tree planting project will help revitalize a community corridor that currently lacks adequate tree coverage and has previously exposed residents to heat in the summer, high utility bills and stormwater runoff.
