Terminix Service, Inc. Named One of 2015 Best Employers in South Carolina

9th largest Pest Management Company in the Nation honored with Best Companies Group top distinction

COLUMBIA, SC – Terminix Service, Inc. (TSI), a pest management company with nearly 70 years of service in South Carolina, western North Carolina and the CSRA area of eastern Georgia, was named one of the best places to work in South Carolina for the second year in a row.

The Best Companies Group awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The list is made up of 50 companies. This tenth annual program was created by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

“We are extremely honored to receive this award not only in South Carolina but also a similar award in North Carolina,” Lex Knox, CEO of Terminix Service, Inc. said. “Our employees are extremely important to us and the continued success and safety of our business.”

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. Companies were requested to submit questionnaires explaining their policies, practices, benefits and demographics. Employees are invited to complete a survey to measure the employee experience, accounting for half of the overall score.  The combination of data collection set Terminix Service, Inc. apart, and determined their final ranking as a top company.
