The Barbara Stone Foundation hosts Bingo Bash on Nov 8th at Carolina Bauernhaus in West End Village

October 27, 2020

The Barbara Stone Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on supporting visionary and creative programs for individuals with disabilities, is hosting a free outdoor event at Carolina Bauernhaus in Greenville on November 8, 2020 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. The community is invited to play free Bingo at the 3rd annual event or online through Facebook Live at the Barbara Stone Foundation Facebook page. Winners will receive prizes and attendees can bid on a variety of silent auction items. All donations made during Bingo Bash with benefit the Barbara Stone Foundation and online contributions are also accepted at https://barbarastonefoundation.org.

Project Host and Resident Dogs food trucks will be selling food, and Carolina Bauernhaus, located at 556 Perry Avenue in the West End Village of Greenville, will offer a variety of craft beers and beverages. Carolina Bauernhaus is an open, outdoor venue with grassy areas, so guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. The venue will follow proper CDC protocols for COVID, and face masks are encouraged.

Supporters and sponsors of this event are making Bingo Bash possible. They include McMillan Pazden and Smith Architecture, Pet Commander Kennels, Sunland Logistics Solutions, Earthwise Pet Supply at Woodruff Road, Coastal Carolina National Bank (CCNB), Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery, Carolina Bauernhaus Greenville, Konica Minolta and Don Clardy of Northwestern Mutual.

Barbara Stone Foundation

Since 1991, the Barbara Stone Foundation has been a champion and fierce advocate for individuals with disabilities who face unnecessary barriers and often struggle to be seen, heard, valued, and included. In 2013, the Barbara Stone Foundation provided the first grant to Greenville CAN (Collaborative Action Network), which is a network of self-advocates, service providers, families, caregivers and professionals working to reduce barriers to employment, increasing recreational opportunities and improving accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
