The Midtown Building Brings Collaborative Co-workspace and Pop-Up Restaurants to Laurens

December 3, 2020

The Midtown Building co-work and event space on the square in Laurens is open for business.  Today (Thursday, Dec. 3rd) they will have their ribbon cutting ceremony and Saturday, December 5th they will hold their first pop-up restaurant event featuring the food of Smoke on the Water.

Just what exactly is a pop-up restaurant you ask? The BUZZ first learned of this idea when touring the building during construction. The idea is to bring fine dining options to Laurens residents and even combine the dining experience with other events.

This week’s pop-up dining experience sold out just hours after it opened for reservations it up for reservations. Some take-out orders may still be available but must be preordered. Orders can be made on their Facebook page or on the website, www.themidtownbuilding.com.

If you didn’t get into this event be on the look-out for more of the same. Another Greenville based restaurant, Halls Chophouse, has also agreed to participate.

They hope to do one or two pop-up events each month and hope to expand the list of restaurants participating.

Great ideas coming from this co-work, collaboration and event space. Mouth-watering ideas actually.

Be on the watch for more events from the Midtown Building by following them on Facebook.
