The Town of Mount Pleasant lists ±38 acres on Faison Road for sale with Colliers

The Town of Mount Pleasant selects Markus Kastenholz, CCIM CPA and Remington Beatty from Colliers | South Carolina to represent sale of Faison Road parcel

Through a public request for proposals process, the Town of Mount Pleasant has hired Colliers to sell its Faison Road parcel, a strategic move aimed at fulfilling the Town’s evolving needs. To ensure the parcel goes to the right developer, the Town of Mount Pleasant has enlisted the expertise of Markus Kastenholz, CCIM CPA and Remington Beatty from Colliers | South Carolina’s Land and Capital Markets team. The Town’s current vision is to create a sustainable local economy that encourages economic vitality, promotes fiscal integrity and increases the local standard of living while preserving and enhancing the quality of life in Mount Pleasant.

The ±38-acre Faison Road parcel comprises ±33 usable acres and ±5 acres of wetlands. The upland wooded lot sits next to the Mount Pleasant Regional Airport near Costco Wholesale and Carolina Park Recreational Complex, currently zoned as a Planned Development District (PDD). The Town purchased the Faison Road parcel in 2021 to meet several of the Town’s strategic objectives including workforce housing, economic development and a civic center. The availability of the Faison Road parcel represents an exciting opportunity for developers to contribute to the continued growth and prosperity of Mount Pleasant.
