Therapalooza: “The Greatest Show in the Southeast” set for Sept. 22

Prepare for an unforgettable evening under the big top benefiting The Therapy Place
Come one, come all to Therapalooza: “The Greatest Show in the Southeast,” benefiting The Therapy Place, a local nonprofit center providing children with life-changing and innovative therapies and family support services.
This year’s circus-themed gala will be held 6:30-10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, inside the Goodman Building at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds, 1200 Rosewood Dr., Columbia.
It will be a memorable night under the big top with circus entertainment, music by Hot Sauce Band, live and silent auctions featuring more than 60 items and experiences, catering by Loosh Culinaire and an open bar with champagne and specialty cocktails.
“We’re so excited about this year’s Therapalooza,” says Dawn Darby, executive director of The Therapy Place. “The funds raised will go directly towards the transformative work we do at our center, serving about 170 children and their families each week with therapies, our preschool, and family support services. We invite everyone to support Therapalooza by purchasing tickets, making a donation, or becoming a sponsor so we can continue helping children reach their full potential.”

Buy tickets
Tickets are on sale at https://event.gives/2023therapalooza. Early bird tickets are available now. As ticket tiers sell out, prices will increase.
Be an event sponsor
There are seven sponsorship packages available, ranging from “In Honor” at $500 to “Presenting” at $15,000. Benefits such as event tickets, recognition on The Therapy Place’s website and social media platforms, and more vary by sponsorship level.
Donate auction items
The Therapy Place is accepting donations of physical items, experiences and services for the silent and live auctions. All donors are invited to have their marketing materials displayed at the event and will receive a tax receipt.

About The Therapy Place
The Therapy Place, located in Forest Acres, serves children from the surrounding 11 counties, offering physical, occupational, and speech therapies for children with special needs and developmental delays. The Therapy Place also provides a year-round therapeutic preschool program for children ages 2-6 with developmental delays and family support in the form of fun family days, educational workshops, support groups, and respite.
