Thomas Creek Brewery to roll out Gallabrae Scottish Ale for 2017

March 15, 2017

Thomas Creek will hold its brewery release of Gallabrae Scottish Ale Friday, March 24, 2017 starting at 4 p.m.

The evening includes the 2017 tapping of Gallabrae, music by Greenville Pipe and Drums and deliciously paired food by Cluck, Squeal and Friends Food Truck. Fête magazine’s FGTV will also be recording its weekly Greenville music calendar during the event.

Gallabrae is the official beer of the Greenville Scottish Games held at Furman University. Gallabrae Scottish Ale will be on draft at the games on Saturday, May 27, 2017. It also is available on draft and 12-ounce bottles, while supplies last, at restaurants and taprooms in the Thomas Creek Brewery distribution network throughout the Upstate.

Gallabrae is a 60 shilling Scottish Ale with an ABV of 5.5%. Perfect for enjoying outside during the warm spring and summer months in South Carolina. It is also the perfect craft beer to pair with menu items that include shrimp, fish sandwiches and pulled pork BBQ with coleslaw and hushpuppies on the side.

Thomas Creek Brewery, family owned since 1998, had its beginnings as Henni’s Brewpub in downtown Greenville in 1994. Bill Davis (Taste Master) and Tom Davis (Brew Master) set out brewing delicious handcrafted beers focusing on a foundation of pristine Blue Ridge Mountain water. The Thomas Creek Brew Team is committed to the creative pursuit of great craft beer from its original location at 2054 Piedmont Highway, Greenville.
