Todd G. Buddin awarded the 2017 Independent Banker of the Year

Mr. Todd G. Buddin, Executive Vice President of Heritage Community Bank, Hartsville SC, was named Independent Banker of the Year by the Independent Banks of South Carolina (IBSC) at the IBSC Annual Convention on July 27, 2017, at the Omni Hotels and Resorts Amelia Island Plantation, Amelia Island, FL.

Todd G. Buddin has been a community banker throughout his career and earned his bachelor’s degree from Francis Marion University. Todd has served the community by membership in the Camden Rotary Club, Sumter Rotary Club, Mental Health Board of Camden, Bethlehem United Methodist Church, volunteer youth baseball and basketball coach. He and his wife Tracey have two sons.

The Independent Banks of South Carolina distinguishes leadership in community banking with this award and is selected from the 36 independent banks in South Carolina. The honor is awarded annually on the basis of outstanding service to the independent banking industry and to the local community.
