Trevor Walling joins United Community Bank as Assistant Vice President

United Community Bank welcomes Trevor Walling as Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Specialist. In this role, Walling will facilitate the commercial business financing needs of Spartanburg and Cherokee counties as well as oversee the commercial credit portfolio.

Walling’s background includes an education in accounting and finance, leading to a career in mortgage and other types of consumer lending. He most recently worked in the commercial credit arena where he was responsible for reconciliations and commercial credit analyses for potential and existing business relationships.

Originally from Anderson, S.C., Walling has lived in Spartanburg for over a decade. He and his wife, Janna, enjoy traveling and visiting the many eateries in the downtown area. Walling regularly attends Green Point Baptist Church and believes that being able to partner with local businesses and serve the community that he and his wife reside in is an “absolute privilege.”
