PENDLETON, SC – Tri-County Technical College’s Student Government Association (SGA) and other student organizations urge Pendleton Bi-Lo shoppers to assist community agencies this season through the Benevolence in November campaign.

Student representatives from SGA and the College’s clubs and organizations will be collecting food and clothing for area community agencies at the entrance of Bi-Lo in Pendleton Saturday, November 20, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 21, from 12 – 5 p.m.

Students are assisting the following county agencies:  AIM, SHARE, Clemson Community Care, Salvation Army, Safe Harbor 2 and New Foundations.  “We want to help these agencies replenish their food pantries and supply closets,” said Croslena Johnson, Tri-County’s director of student life and counseling.  “Students will be accepting food donations, as well as gently-worn coats, jackets and gloves, as well as socks and duffle bags.”
